Waterford Health Park is part of an international research collaboration called the CARITAS Project. We are a leading example of ‘Generative Space’ in the Health Care Setting. The CARITAS Project led by Dr. Wayne Ruga seeks to transform the future of health and healthcare delivery through the development of strategies and technologies that produce sustainable environments.
Medical students from the University of Limerick Graduate Medical School are placed with us for training on an ongoing basis.
We are also a designated training practice for G.P. Registrars on the South East General Practice Training Scheme.
Nursing students from Waterford Institute of Technology carry out training placements at the practice on an ongoing basis.
Also FAS National Training Agency send student administrators and secretaries to WHP for training placements.
